The 37th Sign In the thirty-seventh sign, there will be mass destruction through earthquakes, storms, volcanoes, and tidal waves. Harvests and crops will be destroyed; famine and disease will be rampant. Population will increase, and rain will decrease. The rain will not fall during the proper season and then will fall at the wrong time. (7/1/78) In every country, there will be racial battles, religious battles, fights between the husband and wife, the father and son, the mother and daughter. There will also be battles between one country and another, one company and another, one industry and another, one woman and another. There will be racial differences, religious differences, language differences, philosophical differences, color differences, and sectarian differences, and there will be no faith in God. The ego of “I, I, I” will be asserted, and because of this, a wife will kill a husband, a husband will kill a wife, a father will kill a son, a son will kill a father, a father will kill a daughter, and a daughter will kill a father. The world will continue to exist like this, without any peace. This is how people will destroy themselves. There will be no honor, respect, or good conduct. People will do just as they wish. In this period, new religions will appear, and their leaders will be considered as angels. Liars will be worshipped as God, and tombs will be built for them when they die. Truth will be discarded. Liars will be considered as miracle workers, while those who perform true miracles will be renounced as false and without powers. The world will believe in magic, mantras, the tricks of satan, and elemental miracles (siddhis). They will trust in astrology, lies, predictions through magic, mesmerism, dances and arts, dancing gods and gods that perform miracles and supernatural feats. People will believe in these things and dismiss those who have discarded all of these. People will trust in those who help them gratify their immediate wants, but they will beat and chase away from the land those who tell them to trust God and that only God is the Great One. Such wise people will not be accepted. They will be asked, “Where is that God? Show Him to us.” People will make statues of their gods and ask, “Where is your God? Show Him to us. Our god is right here before us, where is your God?” They will make their idols perform miracles. They will show magics, mesmerisms, and tricks through sleight of hand. They will use the energies of the earth, fire, water, air and ether, the energies of illusion, or maya, and the qualities of satan to perform miracles. They will say, “Look, we are doing all these miracles in front of you. Where is your God? Show us the God you speak of.” They will stand in front of these deities and perform the songs and dances that are appropriate for these idols. Then they will create new dances and more deities to entice people even more. Music will be created from the sixty-four arts and sciences, and the world will be mesmerized by it. They will dance to it and play games with it and openly dedicate themselves to it, exhibiting their body and mind, and all that according to modesty should be protected and hidden. Everyone will become enchanted with this music and dancing, falling headlong into it and losing all their energy. During the thirty-seventh sign, people will be afflicted with deadly new diseases that will not respond to medical treatment, diseases such as cancer, ulcers, lumps, sores, itches, poor eyesight, and high blood pressure. New strains of germs and viruses will affect the body and cause people to die before their full term of life. They will die when they have lived only one quarter or one half of their allotted time. People will also use many bad drugs and herbs that will cause their death. Suicide rates will increase. People will eat poisonous food and take alcohol and drugs that will cause them to lose their wisdom and judgment and become crazy. Most people will lead a life of craziness, having lost their qualities of modesty, shyness, sense of shame, and fear of wrongdoing. This will be the thirty-seventy sign. To be continued...
